On a more personal note, I own all of the Cricut Explore models and I own the Maker. They are all fabulous machines. You cannot go wrong with any of them. But.....since I got my Maker, it is the only machine that stays out on my craft table all the time. I take my Explores to crops and events so they still get used too, but the Maker is my go too. Knowing I can cut thin paper and then the next cut I can do chipboard, just by changing the blade, still amazes me.
