Craft Rooms......

First let me start off by saying this is in no way meant to sound like I am ungrateful or spoiled!  I know I am lucky to have a husband that supports my business 110%.  I know I am blessed to have a husband that not only supports my business, but physically helps me run it as well.  So I do not mean to sound like I am complaining.

Who has a craft room? In April 2017 I was super sick (strep throat and bronchitis).  I had an all day crop planned.  I cannot cancel.  Everyone had registered and paid already and the venue was expecting us.  Thankfully I was able to lean on one of my team members for help.  She not only designed and prepared the make and take, she also made my goody bags.  The morning of the crop, my husband got up loaded all my stuff (I take lots of stuff) and drove me to the crop.  Unloaded everything and went home.  While I was cropping he was working.  (let me say I was no longer contagious or I would not have gone!) He built me the most beautiful craft room in our spare bedroom.  This was not a surprise.  I knew he was doing it.  I helped him design it.  But it was all his idea to give me a space to spread out and create in.

Here is where I am going to sound like a snot.  I love my room.  I really do.  But sometimes I feel I would rather work at the kitchen table.  I feel alienated from my family being down at the end of the hall all by myself.  Am I alone in this?  How do others handle this?  Sometimes he will joke around and say I lock myself away and ignore everyone.  I don't.  But if I am not making videos, or doing online trainings I don't always want to be alone back there.

So if you have a craft room, what is your solution to this?  Or is this all in my head?  He keeps talking about building me my own crop building where I can hold my all day crops and keep everything in there, but then I know I really would feel isolated if I wasn't even in the house!

What is the solution???
